Our first commercial plugin that is WordPress slideshow plugin "Hot Effects Rotator". We name it like that because it rotates images and can use one (or combination) of nine transition effects available. This slideshow plugin is powered by jQuery. There are plenty of options available in the widget options page. You can enable or disable control buttons (iPhone like dots and arrows). Dimensions of the widget are fully configurable, as well as transitions effects between images. The images can be linked if needed and can have description text, but this is not mandatory.

List of the plugin's key features

• Select one of eight available transition effects, including random mode that randomize all the effects.
• Select number of slices (for slice based effects only).
• Control buttons (enabled or disabled) and Left/Right navigation buttons (always enabled, enabled on hover only or disabled).
• Optional pause of slideshow on hover.
• Optional links for each image in the rotation (link can be opened in current or in a new window).
• Optional description text for each image in the rotation. If you don't type description, it would not be shown.
• No conflict jQuery mode allows you to use this WordPress slideshow plugin together with other non-jQuery based plugins.

How to use this plugin

Open the plugin's options page in Appearance > Widgets > HOT Effects Rotator. You'll see that some default options preset there. However, you must change some of them to accomodate widget for your WordPress site. Here's the list of all widget options:

• Widget suffix - Enter suffix for the widget if supported by your theme.
• Load jQuery - You can disable this if jQuery is already loaded by your theme to avoid conflicts.
• Slider width - Overall width of the widget.
• Slider height - Overall height of the widget.
• Open links in a new window - If images are linked, enable this option to open links in a new window.
• Left/Right navigation - Enable or disable left/right navigation arrows.
• Left/Right navigation on hover only - The left/right navigation arrows will be shown on mouse over only.
• Control buttons - Enable or disable iPhone-like control buttons.
• Border color - Pick a border color.
• Border width - Enter border width in pixels.

EFFECTS SETTINGS

• Select transition effect - Select an effect (slice down, slice down-left, slice up, slice up-left, slice up-down, slice up-down-left, fold, fade, random).
• Number of slices - If selected effect is slice, select a number of slices here.
• Animation speed - Enter animation speed in milliseconds.
• Pause between slides - Enter pause between slides in milliseconds.
• Pause on hover - Enable or disable pause on mouse over.
• Manual advance - Enable or disable manual advance.

IMAGES OPTIONS

• Folder where your images are stored - Enter full path to the folder where your images are stored, in example http://www.yoursite.com/images/something

There are nine boxes for up to nine images that you can include in the slideshow. Each of those boxes has these options:

• Image name - Enter file name of the image, in example image.jpg
• Image description - Enter description text that will be shown above the image. If you leave this empty, no text will be shown.
• Link - Enter link if you need a linked image (optionally).
